The UCITS ETFs have been launched for investors who demand full impact, transparency, and data presenting a unique opportunity for those who want to support a positive impact on the world, while still aiming to achieve financial goals.
The new funds will complement the popular CIRCA5000 retail investing app, which already has more than 160,000 registered customers and power their sustainable product suite, which includes an ISA, JISA, GIA and Personal Pension (SIPP). The ETFs are approved for distribution across the UK and Ireland with wider European approvals to come in the following days. CIRCA5000 has launched its new ETF fund range in response to the lack of high-quality, “genuine-impact” ETFs in the UK and Europe.
The five ETFs are designed for purpose using high-quality research and providing transparency for investors;
Methodology – Robust thematic screening and impact analysis, in partnership with impak Analytics and BITA, ensures that only the highest impact companies are selected for each fund.
Reporting – Full transparency on portfolio companies and reporting on a comprehensive set of impact metrics from impak Analytics.
Voting – A landmark partnership with Tumelo allows investors in the CIRCA5000 funds to choose how they want to vote via its platform – selecting a voting policy, voting ad hoc, or delegating to their fund manager. Tumelo also allows investors to access research from leading proxy advisor Glass Lewis.
The CIRCA5000 range of impact ETFs provides coverage of all the investible UN SDGs with minimal overlap and each with specific goals, allowing investors to support positive change in five key areas.
