Over the past few weeks, the technical situation of GOLD has improved.

Prices of the yellow metal, after having fallen to a low of $1,810 at the beginning of October, have in fact made a quick leap forward and are now close to the important psychological threshold of $2,000.
Quantitative analysis shows an interesting strengthening of bullish pressure, with the main directional indicators turning long.
However, before a further leap forward (which will have a first target in the 2,015-2,020 area, a second target near 2,045 dollars and a third target at 2,060 dollars), a brief pause of consolidation is likely, necessary to discharge the strong short-term overbought.
However, if the support in the $1,935-1,925 area is held, this could favour a reaccumulative phase and create the premises for a new extension.

It is difficult for now to hypothesise a bearish trend reversal: only a descent below $1,800, in fact, could provide a negative signal.

Amundi Physical Gold, ISIN FR0013416716. This ETC has €3,394m in assets under management and replicates the spot performance of gold via a bond backed by the physical holding of the precious metal. The total expense ratio (TER) is 0.12% per annum.
iShares Physical Gold, ISIN IE00B4ND3602. This is an ETC with €13,581m in assets under management which replicates the spot performance of gold via a bond backed by the physical holding of the precious metal. The total expense ratio (TER) is 0.12% per annum.
