ARK Invest Europe unveils three groundbreaking ETFs in an expansionary move

Following ARK Invest’s acquisition of Rize ETF in 2023, ARK Invest Europe announces the launch of its first European UCITS ETFs under the leadership of Cathie Wood.

This landmark launch includes the firm’s renowned $14 billion dollar flagship strategy—the ARK Innovation UCITS ETF—alongside the ARK Genomic Revolution UCITS ETF and introduces a purpose-built strategy tailored specifically for the European market: the ARK Artificial Intelligence & Robotics UCITS ETF. Each of these forward-looking strategies is actively managed with a focus on disruptive innovation and is classified as an SFDR Article 8 fund.

Listed on Deutsche Bӧrse Xetra today, the London Stock Exchange and the CBOE Amsterdam tomorrow, with listing on the Borsa Italiana and SIX Swiss Exchange due in the coming weeks, are:

– ARK Innovation UCITS ETF (ARKK)

– ARK Genomic Revolution UCITS ETF (ARKG)

– ARK Artificial Intelligence & Robotics UCITS ETF (ARKI)

Each ETF carries an OCF of 0.75%.

ARK Innovation UCITS ETF (ARKK)

The ARK Innovation ETF (“ARKK”) seeks to invest in companies involved in “disruptive innovation”, defined as the introduction of a technologically enabled new product or service that potentially changes the way the world works. These are companies that lead, enable, rely on, or benefit from the development of new products or services, technological improvements and advancements relating to genomics, automation and manufacturing, transportation, energy, artificial intelligence and materials, infrastructure and services, the increased use of shared technology, or technologies that make financial services more efficient.

ARK Genomic Revolution UCITS ETF (ARKG)

The ARK Genomic Revolution ETF (“ARKG”) seeks to invest in companies involved in the genomic revolution. These are companies that are substantially focused on or benefit from extending and enhancing the quality of human and other life by incorporating technological and scientific developments, improvements and advancements in genomics into their business, such as by offering new products or services that rely on genomic sequencing, analysis, synthesis or instrumentation.

These companies may include ones across multiple sectors, such as healthcare, information technology, materials, energy and consumer discretionary. These companies may also develop, produce, manufacture or significantly rely on or enable bionic devices, bio-inspired computing, bioinformatics, molecular medicine and agricultural biotechnology.

ARK Artificial Intelligence & Robotics UCITS ETF (ARKI)

The ARK Artificial Intelligence & Robotics ETF (“ARKI”) seeks to invest in companies involved in artificial intelligence, autonomous technology and robotics. These are companies that are expected to focus on and benefit from the development of new products or services, technological improvements and advancements in scientific research related to, among other things, disruptive innovation in artificial intelligence, automation and manufacturing, transportation, energy and materials.

ARKI introduces a novel and distinct strategy tailored exclusively for the European ETF market. This actively managed fund targets the most dynamic and current investment opportunities within the AI and Robotics ecosystem. Unlike other European UCITS ETFs, which primarily utilise an index replication strategy, ARKI stands out by actively selecting its investments, ensuring a unique portfolio that captures cutting-edge advancements in technology.

The launch follows the successful rebranding of Rize ETF to ARK Invest Europe, after its acquisition by ARK Invest in September 2023.
