ODDO BHF AM Makes Its ETF Debut with a Focus on Active Strategies

The Paris and Frankfurt-based asset manager is entering the rapidly expanding market for active ETFs, partnering with white-label ETF platform HANetf to bring its proven investment strategies to a new format.

The launch, dated for November 5, 2025, signals a strategic expansion for ODDO BHF AM, which manages €63 billion in assets (as of 31 December 2024). The firm aims to cater to evolving client demands for flexibility, transparency, and accessibility while staying true to its core competency of active, conviction-based management.

The decision taps directly into one of the European ETF market’s most dynamic growth segments. Citing data from Bloomberg and Morningstar, the press release notes that the European active ETF market more than doubled its assets under management (AUM) in the past year. It is projected to surge from its current level of €60 billion to over €1 trillion by 2030.

The Inaugural Active ETF Line-Up

ODDO BHF AM’s initial offering consists of three active UCITS ETFs, each based on strategies with established track records within the firm’s existing fund range. The ETFs are designed to be highly liquid and scalable, with no subscription limits.

The new funds are:

1. ODDO BHF Global Equity Active UCITS ETF (ISIN: IE0001O9L5K4): A globally diversified equity strategy that dynamically adjusts allocations across regions, investment styles, and sectors to capitalise on major trends.

2. ODDO BHF US Equity Active UCITS ETF (ISIN: IE000YR7N5U8): Provides cost-efficient access to US equities, leveraging over 20 years of experience and a focus on controlled volatility.

3. ODDO BHF Global Balanced Allocation Active UCITS ETF (ISIN: IE000VOQ8BV4): Offers a broadly diversified global portfolio with dynamic allocation across asset classes—including equities, bonds, currencies, and commodities—via a careful selection of other ETFs and ETCs.

Partnership and Market Accessibility

To ensure a robust operational structure, ODDO BHF AM will act as the appointed fund manager, while leveraging HANetf’s expertise as Europe’s first and leading white-label ETF provider. This partnership underscores the growing trend of traditional asset managers using specialist platforms to accelerate their ETF market entry.
