WisdomTree, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Atlantic House Holdings Limited, a London-based systematic manager specialising in defined outcome and derivatives-driven investment strategies, for £150 million (approximately $200 million).

The transaction, expected to close in the second quarter of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions, adds approximately £4.11 billion (approximately $5.5 billion) in assets under management to WisdomTree’s platform .

Strategic rationale

The acquisition brings in-house derivatives and systematic investment expertise, strengthening WisdomTree’s ability to design and launch active ETFs and outcome-oriented strategies. Atlantic House currently manages strategies including the £2.5 billion Atlantic House Defined Returns Fund, alongside specialist strategies in liquid alternatives, equity replacement, fixed income and hedging .

Atlantic House does not currently manage any ETFs . The acquisition gives WisdomTree the capability to develop defined outcome ETFs, a product category that has seen significant issuer activity. BlackRock and JP Morgan have entered the European market with option-based strategies in the last 12 months, while Goldman Sachs Asset Management announced a $2bn deal for buffer ETF pioneer Innovator Capital Management in December 2025 .

The transaction also extends WisdomTree’s Models and Portfolio Solutions platform into the UK wealth market. Atlantic House brings established relationships across the UK independent financial adviser market, supporting accelerated distribution .

Transaction details

The purchase price is payable at closing, subject to customary adjustments. The transaction is expected to be modestly accretive in 2026, with future upside from revenue synergies and operating scale .

Following completion, WisdomTree will manage approximately $163 billion in assets globally .

Leadership and integration

Tom May, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic House, will serve as Global CIO, Outcome and Derivative Strategies at WisdomTree following the transaction. Atlantic House’s investment team will continue to manage existing strategies while working with WisdomTree to expand capabilities across ETF and model portfolio platforms .

“Atlantic House strengthens WisdomTree across multiple dimensions. It enhances our defined outcome and derivatives capabilities, expands our Models and Portfolio Solutions platform in the UK, and deepens our presence within the wealth channel,” said Jonathan Steinberg, WisdomTree’s Founder and CEO. “Importantly, it aligns with our disciplined capital allocation framework while positioning the firm for incremental revenue growth. This transaction also advances our multi-year strategy to build a more diversified and higher-quality growth platform, expanding on WisdomTree’s 2025 acquisition of Ceres Partners, LLC and our strategic entry into private markets.”

May Tom Atlantic House WisdomTree ETFTom May, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic House, said: “Joining WisdomTree enables us to enhance our investment offering through WisdomTree’s extensive research capabilities and distribution platform. We see a significant opportunity to broaden access to our strategies across Europe and the United States, while continuing to serve our existing clients with the same disciplined approach and investment philosophy. Market context

The acquisition continues WisdomTree’s pattern of inorganic expansion in the UK and European markets. The firm acquired Boost ETP in 2014 and ETF Securities in 2018, using existing relationships from those acquisitions to scale its UCITS platform to approximately $15 billion in assets .

WisdomTree reported record global exchange-traded product and tokenized AUM of approximately $154 billion in January 2026, with over $1.6 billion of net inflows representing a 13.5% annualized organic growth rate. UCITS AUM grew 17% in January, driven by nearly $1.3 billion of net inflows .

Piper Sandler & Company is serving as exclusive financial advisor to Atlantic House. Goodwin Procter LLP is acting as legal counsel to WisdomTree .
