The fund, which listed on Börse Xetra, Borsa Italiana, Euronext Paris and SIX Swiss Exchange on 25 March, provides diversified exposure to eight technology themes including artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, cybersecurity and quantum computing. The ETF tracks the WisdomTree Tech Megatrends Equity UCITS Index and carries a Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 0.50%.
The strategy follows the same disciplined framework developed for the WisdomTree Global Megatrends Equity strategy, which has outperformed the Nasdaq 100 by 11.05% since its launch, according to the firm.
Three-layer approach to alpha generation
The ETF employs a three-tier methodology designed to capture returns across technology-focused themes:
Strategic thematic asset allocation: provides curated exposure to selected tech themes while maximising diversification between them.
Tactical thematic asset allocation: allows the strategy to overweight specific themes when positive factors create a favourable environment for a given theme.
Thematic stock selection: draws on domain experts across different themes to identify the most relevant companies within each theme.
Pierre Debru, Head of Research, Europe at WisdomTree, said: “Technological innovation does not occur in isolation. AI depends on cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity underpins digital expansion, and advanced semiconductors enable both. A multi-thematic approach captures these interdependencies, providing investors with diversified exposure to multiple long-term growth engines within the broader technology ecosystem.”
Growth of WisdomTree’s thematic range
WisdomTree has expanded its thematic UCITS ETF suite to 15 funds since 2018, with assets under management exceeding $9 billion globally. The firm reported inflows of $1.9 billion into its thematic range in 2026 and $3.9 billion in 2025.
The launch of TMGT follows the February and March 2026 listings of the WisdomTree Physical AI, Humanoids and Drones UCITS ETF and the WisdomTree Europe Infrastructure UCITS ETF.
Alexis Marinof, CEO, Europe at WisdomTree, added: “Our focus is on developing differentiated ETFs that solve real portfolio challenges. Investors want efficient access to transformative technologies, but they also recognise that identifying individual winners within fast-evolving themes can be difficult, which is why discipline and diversification matter. This multi-thematic ETF brings those elements together in a single, transparent strategy designed to add long-term value.”
