HANetf has added a US equity version of Trading Central’s quantitative strategy to its London line-up, three days after the Global 50.

The ETF is issued through the HANetf platform and trades in sterling under the ticker TCU and in US dollars under TCQU. It tracks the Solactive TC Quant US 50 Index, a portfolio of 50 US stocks selected by Trading Central’s proprietary rating, held in equal weights and rebalanced every month. The TER is 1%.

The fund arrives in London three days after its sister fund, the Trading Central Quant Global 50 Equity UCITS ETF, which listed on the LSE on 9 October.

Key features of the U.S. 50 ETF

The ETF is a UCITS fund that accumulates income. Its main characteristics, based on HANetf’s material and the London Stock Exchange listing, are set out below.

How the Solactive TC Quant US 50 Index is built

Solactive calculates the index using Trading Central SA’s proprietary TC Quantamental Rating®. On its website, Solactive describes the index as made up of the top-rated US companies according to the quantamental ratings produced by Trading Central’s 20-factor proprietary model.

Trading Central’s own communications refer to five factor groups. The two descriptions are consistent: the five factors set out by the issuer bring together the model’s individual indicators. Each stock is scored on all five at once:

growth;

value;

income;

quality;

momentum.

The methodology combines quantitative signals with fundamental analysis. According to HANetf, the model rests on 27 years of research by Trading Central and on more than five years of independent performance data, partly back-tested and partly recorded live.

A rules-based US equity quant ETF

HANetf says the ETF seeks to track its index, as far as possible, before fees and expenses. The fund holds the index constituents in the same proportions as the index.

The issuer calls the approach “systematic active”. Stock selection follows fixed rules and does not depend on a manager’s discretion. According to HANetf, this means the strategy is not exposed to style drift. Each month the model ranks the market again, using proprietary data that the issuer says is not otherwise available to investors.

HANetf states that the strategy is designed to outperform traditional broad equity indices. This is the issuer’s objective. It is not a guaranteed outcome.

Equal weighting in a concentrated US market

Each of the 50 holdings receives a 2% weight at every monthly rebalance. In a market capitalisation-weighted index, the largest companies account for a higher share of the portfolio. With equal weighting, the fund does not concentrate on a small group of stocks.

Between rebalances, weights move with share prices and can drift away from 2%. They are reset at the following monthly rebalance.

Two practical points follow for investors:

Smaller companies within the 50 selected names have the same weight as the largest ones.

Rebalancing every month produces higher turnover than in a traditional index, and the transaction costs are charged to the fund.

Costs: 1% a year

The TER is 1% a year, the same as the other Trading Central Quant UCITS ETFs. ETFs that track market capitalisation-weighted US equity indices generally charge much less. The higher fee reflects the proprietary Trading Central methodology and the monthly rebalancing of the index.

Three Trading Central Quant UCITS ETFs in Europe

The U.S. 50 is the third UCITS fund in the range:

Trading Central Quant Europe 50 Equity UCITS ETF (ISIN IE000DN0XQM1): admitted to trading on Borsa Italiana on 6 August 2026, also traded on Xetra, Euronext Paris and Euronext Dublin. It tracks the Solactive TC Quant EU 50 Index and uses physical replication.

Trading Central Quant Global 50 Equity UCITS ETF (ISIN IE000YM4FP49): listed on the London Stock Exchange on 9 October 2026 (TCW in GBX, TCQW in USD).

Trading Central Quant U.S. 50 Equity UCITS ETF (ISIN IE000M5KXSP3): listed on the London Stock Exchange on 12 October 2026 (TCU in GBX, TCQU in USD).

At the launch of the Europe 50, Trading Central SA chief executive Alain Pellier presented the move into exchange-traded products as a natural development of the firm’s research activity, which makes its proprietary analysis available to investors as products they can hold directly.

The US index already has a Canadian counterpart. In March 2026 LongPoint Asset Management listed the Trading Central Quant U.S. 50 Equity Index ETF (TCUS) on the Toronto Stock Exchange. That fund tracks the Solactive TC Quant US 50 Index. It is not UCITS-compliant and is not intended for European investors.

Trading Central and the HANetf platform

Trading Central SA, headquartered in Paris, has supplied independent financial research and analysis since 1999, mostly to brokers and platforms for retail investors. It is registered as an investment adviser in several jurisdictions.

HANetf is the issuer. It is an independent European platform through which third-party companies can launch UCITS ETFs and ETCs under their own brand. The Trading Central funds are sub-funds of HANetf ICAV, an Irish-law vehicle authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Conclusion

The U.S. 50 listing completes the London arrival of the two Trading Central Quant UCITS ETFs launched in October, each with GBX and USD trading lines. Like the Global 50 and the Europe 50, the fund holds 50 equally weighted stocks selected on five factors through the TC Quantamental Rating®, rebalances monthly and charges a TER of 1%.

The fund has no trading history in Europe yet. Investors can look at the performance of the Solactive TC Quant US 50 Index on Solactive’s website, noting that part of the index history is based on back-tested simulations.
