The Baltimore-based asset manager has brought two Irish-domiciled UCITS equity ETFs to London, one week after their Xetra listing, with a 0.00% TER until 5 October 2027.

The T. Rowe Price Integrated Global Equity UCITS ETF and the T. Rowe Price Integrated US Equity Enhanced Index UCITS ETF are the manager’s first active ETFs to be listed in Europe. Both funds debuted on Deutsche Börse/Xetra on 8 October and are scheduled to list on Borsa Italiana on 22 October 2026. The stated goal is to give European professional investors access to T. Rowe Price’s active management capabilities through an ETF wrapper.

T. Rowe Price enters the European active ETF market

T. Rowe Price had US$1.87 trillion in assets under management as of 31 August 2026. The two new funds are sub-funds of T. Rowe Price ETF ICAV and are domiciled in Ireland.

According to the firm, the European launch builds on its existing ETF business in the United States. T. Rowe Price launched its first active ETFs in the US in August 2020.

The initial European range consists of two equity strategies:

  • T. Rowe Price Integrated Global Equity UCITS ETF – ticker communicated by the company: TIGE
  • T. Rowe Price Integrated US Equity Enhanced Index UCITS ETF – ticker communicated by the company: TUSE

The two UCITS ETFs in the range

T. Rowe Price describes the Integrated US Equity Enhanced Index UCITS ETF as offering “benchmark-aware” US equity exposure. The company says it can be used as a core portfolio holding or alongside existing passive positions.

The Integrated Global Equity UCITS ETF is presented as a higher-conviction core global equity strategy. According to T. Rowe Price, the underlying investment approach has a track record of more than ten years.

The Enhanced Investing approach

Both ETFs follow T. Rowe Price’s Enhanced Investing approach. The company defines it as a combination of three elements:

  • fundamental research;
  • proprietary quantitative capabilities;
  • disciplined portfolio construction.

Listing timetable across Europe

The two ETFs follow a staggered listing schedule on three European exchanges:

  • 8 October 2026: Deutsche Börse/Xetra
  • 15 October 2026: London Stock Exchange
  • 22 October 2026: Borsa Italiana

Costs: zero TER until 5 October 2027

As part of the launch, both ETFs carry a fee waiver that brings the total expense ratio (TER) to 0.00% until 5 October 2027. T. Rowe Price may, at its discretion, extend the waiver for a further six months.

If the waiver is not extended, the following maximum TERs will apply after that date:

  • Integrated Global Equity UCITS ETF: 0.00% until 5 October 2027, then up to 0.25%
  • Integrated US Equity Enhanced Index UCITS ETF: 0.00% until 5 October 2027, then up to 0.14%

The company notes that investments made through intermediaries or brokers may be subject to additional costs and/or fees.

Andrew Brickman, who recently joined T. Rowe Price in the newly created role of Head of ETF Solutions, EMEA, said:

“The investment opportunity for ETFs is significant and is accelerating. Across Europe, ETFs have moved from being a specialist allocation tool to a mainstream vehicle. This is why we are giving European investors a new way to access selected investment capabilities through active ETFs.”

Terry Nataline T. Rowe PriceNataline Terry, Head of EMEA Distribution, commented:

“The new ETFs are designed to play distinct portfolio roles that can complement or replace passive exposures, and fit within a range of portfolio structures, including model portfolios.

“For the first year, investors will pay zero Total Expense Ratio (TER), giving them access to actively managed strategies without a management fee during that period.”

Conclusion

With the London listing, T. Rowe Price’s first European active ETF range is now available on two of the three exchanges in its timetable. The range consists of two Irish-domiciled UCITS equity ETFs, one global and one focused on the US, both managed with the Enhanced Investing approach. Borsa Italiana follows on 22 October 2026.

Until 5 October 2027, unless extended, neither ETF charges an annual management cost. After that date, the maximum TER will be 0.25% for the global ETF and 0.14% for the US ETF.
