Columbia Threadneedle Investments has listed the CT QR Series Global Equity Active UCITS ETF on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

The fund also trades on Deutsche Börse Xetra and SIX Swiss Exchange. Trading commenced on 13 February 2026.

The fund carries the ISIN IE000M07S996 and trades under the ticker QRGE. It has a Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 0.25%. The reference benchmark is the MSCI ACWI.

This launch extends the firm’s QR Series of active ETFs in Europe. Columbia Threadneedle introduced active ETFs focused on US and European equities in 2025. The global equity product follows the same investment model used for those earlier launches.

Investment Approach

The strategy combines quantitative analysis with fundamental research. The portfolio construction process utilizes a proprietary quantitative model refined over 20 years. This model assesses quality, catalysts, and value. A global fundamental research team of over 200 analysts provides real-time analysis to support the quantitative data.

The fund aims to generate risk-adjusted returns above the benchmark through active stock selection. The portfolio focuses on companies with a high probability of outperformance. At launch, the portfolio holds approximately 35% of the securities present in the MSCI ACWI benchmark. This concentration reflects the team’s conviction in the selected holdings.

The investment process involves three main steps:

• Research: The team identifies securities with high outperformance potential and excludes those expected to underperform.
• Classification: Securities are rated from “strong buy” to “strong sell”. Those expected to perform below average are excluded. This reduces the investable universe by up to two-thirds. The resulting portfolio complies with SFDR Article 8.
• Recalibration: The portfolio monitors the benchmark to minimize sector and geographic distortion. Stock selection drives alpha. The fund rebalances twice a year to manage costs. Daily reviews occur to respond to security downgrades.

The strategy targets a tracking error between 2% and 4%.
