First Trust Nasdaq® Clean Edge® Global Water UCITS ETF

Investment Objective

The Fund is a passively managed index-tracking fund that seeks to provide investors with investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of the Nasdaq® Clean Edge® Global Water Index before fees and expenses. The Index is designed to track the performance of companies that derive a substantial portion of their revenues from the potable water and wastewater industry in one of the following sub-sectors (“Water Sectors”): (i) water distribution; (ii) infrastructure (pumps, pipes and valves); (iii) water solutions (purification and filtration); and (iv) ancillary services (consulting, construction and metering). To be included in the Index, Clean Edge classifies companies as “pure play” if they derive 50% or more of their revenue from the Water Sectors and classifies companies as “diversified” if they are active in Water Sectors but derive less than 50% of their revenue from them.

Investment Objective

The Fund is a passively managed index-tracking fund that seeks to provide investors with investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of the RBA American Industrial Renaissance® Index before fees and expenses. The Index is designed to measure the performance of small- and mid-cap US companies in the industrial and community banking sectors.

First Trust Rising Dividend Achievers UCITS ETF

Investment Objective

The Fund is a passively managed index-tracking fund that seeks to provide investors with investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of the Nasdaq US Rising Dividend Achievers Index™ before fees and expenses. The Index is designed to measure the performance of a selection of securities that have increased their dividend value over the previous three-year and five-year periods. The Index begins with the largest 750 components of the Nasdaq US Benchmark Index and eliminates securities classified as a Mortgage Real Estate Investment Trust or Real Estate Investment Trust according to the ICB Sector classification.

First Trust Vest U.S. Equity Max Buffer UCITS ETF – June

Investment Objective

The Fund is an actively managed Fund which seeks to provide investors with returns (before fees and expenses) that match the price return of the S&P 500® Index up to a predetermined upside cap, while seeking to provide the maximum available buffer (before fees and expenses) against Index losses over approximately a specified one year period. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will invest substantially all of its assets in Flexible Exchange® Options (“FLEX Options”) that reference the price performance of the S&P 500® Index. FLEX Options are customised equity or index put and call option contracts that are cleared by the Options Clearing Corporation (the “OCC”) and traded on Regulated Markets in the US (and in particular the Cboe Options Exchange). The ETF can be held indefinitely, resetting at the end of each outcome period (approximately annually).
