The Franklin FTSE Developed World UCITS ETF is a passively managed equity ETF and replicates the performance of the FTSE Developed Index-NR (Net Return), a market capitalisation-weighted index that aims to replicate the performance of large- and mid-capitalisation companies in developed markets globally.
Caroline Baron, Head of ETF Distribution, EMEA, Franklin Templeton, said: “We are pleased to offer European investors this new low-cost ETF that replicates one of the leading developed market indices. With a single trade, investors can now access more than 2,000 equities across 25 developed economies as part of a broad diversified global portfolio. With nearly $20 billion in ETF flows in 20233, developed markets represent 40 per cent of global GDP and 74 per cent of global equity market capitalisation4, making this strategy an attractive equity allocation for our clients.”
