The white-label ETF platform adds senior talent from BlackRock, JP Morgan, and investment banking as assets under management surpass $9 billion

The hires come as the London-based white-label provider reported year-end assets under management exceeding $9 billion.

Bohnacker Andreas HANetfAndreas Bohnacker joins as Business Development Manager with responsibility for continental Europe. He brings more than 20 years of financial services experience, beginning his career at a Big Four consultancy before moving to sell-side roles in 2012. His capital markets and institutional sales background includes positions at UniCredit, Société Générale, and Wells Fargo .

Abdouh Mira HANetfMira Abdouh has been appointed Senior ETC Product Specialist. She joins from BlackRock’s iShares division, where she spent approximately a decade and led product engineering for the EMEA digital assets platform. Her work included the launch of the firm’s Europe-listed bitcoin ETP. Abdouh brings experience in product structuring, platform development, and regulatory engagement .

Michaela Salomone joins as ETC Product Specialist, supporting the team on existing products and upcoming issuances. She previously worked at Zipa Management, where she was involved in launching the SMO Physical Gold ETC (ticker: BARS), which the firm runs in partnership with Janus Henderson Tabula. Earlier in her career, she worked as a financial analyst in the mining sector, covering financial modelling and M&A analysis .

Dominic Russo has been hired as ETP Capital Markets Associate. He spent four years at JP Morgan Personal Investing, where he executed trades across multiple strategies totalling more than $20 billion. His remit included managing fortnightly trading cycles and periodic rebalancing from both trading and operations perspectives. He also worked on the integration between Nutmeg and JP Morgan. At HANetf, he will oversee primary and secondary markets across the full ETF range, reporting to Terry Wood, Head of ETP Capital Markets & Operations .

The appointments follow a period of sustained growth for HANetf. The company surpassed $9 billion in assets under management in late 2025, having added $2.15 billion in net flows year-to-date at that point. The defence theme has been a primary driver, with the Future of Defence UCITS ETF (ticker: NATO) accumulating $2.99 billion and the European-focused ARMY ETF reaching €149 million. The Royal Mint Responsibly Sourced Physical Gold ETC (ticker: RMAU) has also grown to $1.52 billion .

HANetf now hosts 24 brands on its platform, representing approximately 16% of the 144 European ETF brands. The company has launched 14 new products in 2025 across thematic, active, fixed income, commodity, and crypto strategies .

Hector McNeil, Co-founder and Co-CEO of HANetf, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Andreas, Mira, Michaela and Dominic to the HANetf team. Their extensive experience in the ETF industry will be invaluable to us as we continue to support the growth and development of our platform. These appointments come at an exciting time for the business, with a strong pipeline of innovative new products launching, with more to follow.”

“Our business development team has expanded significantly in line with growing demand from global asset managers seeking access to the European ETF market. In addition, the expansion of our dedicated ETC team will ensure we remain well-positioned to deliver innovative strategies to European investors, while capital markets services are increasingly recognised as a key differentiator of our platform. We will continue to invest in systems, processes and, most importantly, people to further enhance our offering.”

The new hires will work alongside existing team members including Torsten Dueing, Head of ETC Platforms, who joined HANetf in 2022 from Nomura, and Jason Griffin, Director of Capital Markets and Business Development. The company also recently appointed John Shields as Head of Business Development for the Americas, based in Boston, to target US asset managers seeking European ETF distribution .

HANetf operates as an independent white-label platform, enabling asset managers to launch and manage ETFs and ETCs without building their own infrastructure. The company provides full operational, regulatory, distribution, and capital markets support to its clients .
