iShares lists on Xetra three thematic equity ETFs and four high-yield and investment-grade bond ETFs

iShares: Seven new exchange traded funds issued by iShares have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The iShares Global Timber & Forestry UCITS ETF – Dist tracks the 25 largest companies in the forestry and timber industry worldwide. Companies along the entire value chain are included. In addition to owners and traders of primary forestry products, producers of packaging materials from the pulp and paper industry are also included in the index.

With the iShares Smart City Infrastructure UCITS ETF, investors participate in the performance of at least 80 companies worldwide that contribute to enabling the urban infrastructure of the future. This includes solutions for sustainable transport and housing, as well as efficient energy provision and optimised waste management. The fund does not include companies that violate the United Nations Global Compact or engage in significant business activities in the areas of tobacco, weapons, nuclear energy, thermal coal or oil and gas.

The iShares EUR High Yield Corp Bond ESG UCITS ETF – Acc provides investors with exposure to fixed income and euro-denominated high yield bonds issued by companies worldwide that also meet sustainability criteria. Only debt securities from the industrial, financial services and utilities sectors and with a minimum residual maturity of one year and a minimum outstanding volume of €250 million are considered. Companies with significant business activities in alcohol, tobacco, gambling, adult entertainment, weapons, nuclear energy, thermal coal, and oil sands are excluded from the index.

The iShares USD Development Bank Bonds UCITS ETF – Acc provides investors with access to US Dollar denominated fixed rate bonds issued by multilateral development banks, primarily to support sustainable projects in developing countries. Bonds included in the index must have a minimum remaining maturity of one year, an investment grade rating and a minimum outstanding volume of US$ 500 million.

The iShares USD Treasury Bond 1-3yr UCITS ETF – EUR Hedged – Acc and the iShares USD Treasury Bond 20+yr UCITS ETF – EUR Hedged – Dist provide investors with exposure to short and very long maturity US Treasury bonds respectively. For inclusion in the Index, debt securities must have a minimum outstanding size of US$ 300 million, an investment grade rating and a remaining maturity of between one and three or more than twenty year(s). Both share classes also minimise currency risks against the euro.
