iShares Global Aggregate Bond ESG UCITS ETF

Direct investment in government, government-related, corporate and securitised bonds.

Within corporate, securitised, agencies and supranational bonds only includes best issuers from an ESG / SRI perspective and explicitly excludes issuers involved in controversial weapons, nuclear weapons, conventional weapons, civilian firearms, tobacco, adult entertainment, alcohol, gambling, nuclear power, genetically modified organisms, oil sands and thermal coal. Treasuries, sovereign and local authority bonds are excluded if issuers have had UN Sanctions applied.

Tracks an index with a minimum 10% allocation to green bonds, inclusive of Treasuries and gov-related green bond issuance.

INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE

The iShares Global Aggregate Bond ESG UCITS ETF seeks to track the investment results which reflects the return of the Bloomberg Barclays MSCI Global Aggregate Sustainable and Green Bond SRI Index composed of global investment grade ESG (environmental, social and governance) screened bonds.
