An ETF issuer has launched the first High Yield ETF in Europe, offering investors access to the difficult to reach exposures of the High Yield market….…
Following extensive feedback from investors, iShares and iBoxx created a new market index based on approximately 150 of the most liquid fixed and floating rate sub-investment grade European corporate bonds, with maturities of between 2 and 10.5 years. A maximum individual issuer weighting of 5% ensures diversification across the Euro High Yield market.
The iShares Markit iBoxx Euro High Yield ETF thus overcomes the issue of inconsistent liquidity, offering investors instant, cost-effective and transparent exposure to diversified range of European High Yield Bonds – all in a single transaction.
The fund is perfectly suited to investors seeking a flexible means of switching tactical allocations from government or investment grade bonds into riskier assets, and back again, both for short, medium and long term exposure.
