Nordea Bell-Ringing-Event – Six Swiss Exchange

NAM’s BetaPlus Enhanced Global Developed Sustainable Equity UCITS ETF and BetaPlus Enhanced Global Sustainable Equity UCITS ETF bring the total number of ETFs available to investors on SIX Swiss Exchange to 2,076.

NAM expands access to its investment and ESG expertise by launching the first two active ETFs from its BetaPlus Enhanced Sustainable Equity range. These Irish-domiciled UCITS ETFs combine various methods of active management to give today’s investors a cost-effective sustainable solution.

According to NAM, the BetaPlus range leverages NAM’s long-standing experience in both data driven portfolio construction and responsible investing. Previously available only through traditional UCITS funds and mandates, these active strategies are now offered in a more flexible, tradeable ETF format – maintaining the same process and team in a more efficient structure. With the BetaPlus ETF range, NAM aims to deliver transparent, smart core exposures that integrate both sustainability and risk considerations to generate consistent alpha.

With this launch, SIX now hosts 32 ETF issuers offering a total of 2,076 ETFs on SIX Swiss Exchange – making it one of Europe’s most dynamic and diverse ETF marketplaces. So far this year, 224 new ETFs have been listed on SIX, including 76 actively managed products – the highest number of new active ETF listings in eight years.

NAM’s BetaPlus listings bring the total number of active ETFs on SIX to 214, now representing 10% of all listed ETFs. Currently, 22 issuers offer active ETFs on the exchange. ETF trading turnover has reached CHF 78 billion year-to-date (as per 31 August 2025), marking an 57.1% increase over the same period in 2024. During that timeframe, turnover in active ETFs has surged even more – up 185.3% – while the overall number of ETF transactions has grown by 38.2% to 2.1 million.

Pappone Cristian Nordea Asset MaanagementCristian Pappone, Regional Head, Switzerland & Austria at Nordea Asset Management, said: “BetaPlus is a proven strategy, with more than 15 years of successful track record and over EUR 60 billion in assets under management. With the launch of active BetaPlus ETFs – alongside our long-standing UCITS funds – and now the listing on SIX Swiss Exchange we’re making it easier for investors to access this long-standing solution with the flexibility and tradability they want.”
