Source is pleased to announce that four more of its market-leading exchange traded products have been admitted to trading in GBP on the London Stock Exchange. The new GBP products include the accumulating and dividend distributing share classes of the recently launched Source Morningstar US Energy Infrastructure MLP UCITS ETF and two of Source’s largest US sector ETFs: Financials S&P US Select Sector Source ETF and Technology S&P Select Sector Source ETF. These four products admitted to trading bring the number of Source products available in GBP to eleven.

“ETFs are now attracting a wider group of investors in the UK,” says Ted Hood, CEO of Source. “We are keen to offer access to key markets and interesting investment themes and opportunities in sterling, thereby avoiding the need for separate FX transactions.”

The Source Morningstar US Energy Infrastructure MLP UCITS ETF provides exposure to US energy infrastructure via the Morningstar® MLP Composite IndexSM (TR). MLPs (Master Limited Partnerships) own and operate much of the US’s energy infrastructure. This market segment has attracted considerable attention in recent years as the US rapidly develops its onshore gas industry and has historically generated stable and attractive cash flows. This product is the first ETF in Europe to offer diversified exposure to this compelling segment of the US energy market.

The Financials S&P US Select Sector Source ETF and Technology S&P US Select Sector ETFs are among Source’s largest and most actively traded US sector products, with combined assets under management of US$486 million[1]. Competitive fees and high liquidity make these products an efficient way to gain exposure to these US sectors.

UK investors can now trade a growing range of Source products in GBP. The choice includes traditional equity benchmarks such as FTSE 100, commodity products such as Source Physical Gold P-ETC and the LGIM Commodity Composite Source UCITS ETF, and innovative “smart-beta” products such as the Man GLG Europe Plus ETF and two funds in the PIMCO Source fixed income range.
