Andreas Zingg Head of Multi-Asset Solutions for Vanguard Europe
Andreas Zingg takes on the newly created position of Head of Multi-Asset Solutions in Europe.
Mr. Zingg will report to Rick Vassell, Head of Vanguard’s Portfolio Review Department (“PRD”) in Europe. PRD oversees the funds and ETFs offered by Vanguard and evaluates and develops new funds and ETFs. In his new role, Mr. Zingg will be responsible for Vanguard’s entire European multi-asset product range and its further development. Mr Zingg will split his work between London and Zurich.
Rick Vassell, head of Vanguard’s PRD team in Europe, comments, “Vanguard’s multi-asset products, including our popular LifeStrategy® product line, have long offered investors an all-in-one solution based on Vanguard’s four investment principles: Long-Term Focus, Simplicity, Transparency and Low Cost. Multi-asset solutions work equally well for independent asset managers and end investors. We want to further strengthen the strategic opportunities in this area. Andreas Zingg brings with him extensive expertise and international experience. Both his knowledge on the product and distribution side will be of great benefit to this position, which in turn will be an integral part of Vanguard’s future multi-asset product and solution offering.”
Andreas Zingg joined Vanguard in 2016. Prior to joining Vanguard, he was Head of iShares Sales Middle East & Africa and Head of iShares Sales for German-speaking Switzerland at BlackRock. Before joining BlackRock in 2010, Andreas Zingg worked for UBS Asset Management. He started his career as a project manager at McKinsey & Co. in Zurich, where he was responsible for leading projects with a particular focus on corporate strategy, business transformation and sales strategies for clients in the financial sector. Andreas Zingg studied economics and finance at the University of St. Gallen and received his PhD in business administration from the University of St. Gallen in 2009.
Simone Rosti, Head of Italy and Southern Europe, will take over until a successor is found for the position of Country Head Switzerland.
