Fee reduction also applies to flagship FTSE All-World UCITS ETF

This brings the total number of European ETFs for which Vanguard has reduced fees in 2025 to 12.

Earlier this year, the asset manager had already reduced fees on six of its bond ETFs.

Among the funds included in this latest round of fee reductions is the popular Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF.

This fund is the largest market-capitalization-weighted ETF in Europe tracking the FTSE All-World Index, enabling investors to build a diversified, all-in-one equity portfolio at even lower cost. For investors who prefer targeted exposure to specific regions, Vanguard is also lowering fees on its FTSE Emerging Markets UCITS ETF, FTSE ESG Emerging Markets All Cap UCITS ETF, FTSE Japan UCITS ETF, Germany All Cap UCITS ETF, and FTSE North America UCITS ETF.

Jon Cleborne, Head of Vanguard Europe, commented on the move:
“By reducing fees on our equity funds, we enable investors to retain a greater share of market returns. Our mission is to reduce the cost and complexity of investing, helping savers earn money from their wealth—not have wealth earned from them. We estimate that the fee reduction on the FTSE All-World UCITS ETF alone will save investors approximately USD 13.7 million annually.
In total, today’s announced fee reductions will deliver annual savings of around USD 18.5 million.”

Vanguard offers the lowest-cost equity ETF range in Europe on average. Over the past ten years, the firm has implemented more than 80 fee reductions across its European mutual funds and ETFs. Following today’s adjustments, the asset-weighted average expense ratio for Vanguard’s European equity index and fixed income offerings will stand at just 0.13%.

The total annual cost savings for investors from all fee reductions announced in 2025—including both fixed income and equity ETFs—are expected to amount to approximately USD 22 million.
