Since Thursday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by Amundi Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The Amundi MSCI Europe ESG Broad CTB UCITS ETF invests in large and mid-cap companies from developed markets in Europe that are included in the MSCI Europe Index and meet additional ESG criteria. Companies with negative social or environmental impacts are excluded, while companies with a strong ESG rating are overweighted. The aim is to reduce the CO2 footprint by at least 20 per cent while maintaining risk and return characteristics similar to those of the parent index.
In addition, the fund meets the minimum requirements of the EU Climate Transition Benchmark Regulation (EU CTB) in the field of climate change.
