The 4D – GBP Hedged class of the Xtrackers Global Corporate Bond UCITS ETF trades under ticker XGGD, while the 4D – GBP Hedged class of the Xtrackers Global High Yield Corporate Bond UCITS ETF trades under XGPD. Both classes trade in sterling and distribute income.

The two share classes cover different segments of the global corporate bond market. XGGD tracks the ICE BofA Global Corporate Index, which, according to the KIID, reflects the performance of investment grade corporate debt publicly issued in major domestic and Eurobond markets. Ongoing charges are 0.10%, and the share class distributes up to four times a year. XGPD tracks the ICE BofA Global High Yield Index, which covers below-investment-grade corporate debt issued in the same markets. Ongoing charges are 0.20%, and the share class distributes quarterly.

Both indices are administered by ICE Data Indices, calculated daily in US dollars on a total return basis and rebalanced monthly. The base currency of both funds is the US dollar.

Each share class aims to track its index before fees and expenses while reducing the effect of exchange rate movements at share class level. To do this, the funds use derivative contracts intended to limit the impact of fluctuations between US dollar assets and sterling shares. The KIIDs give an anticipated tracking error of 1% in normal market conditions for both funds. Both share classes are placed in risk category 4 on the seven-point scale.

The documents highlight credit risk and interest rate risk for both funds. They also note exposure to emerging markets and the use of derivatives, including for currency hedging. For the high yield share class, the document adds that non-investment-grade bonds generally have a higher risk of default and are more sensitive to market fluctuations than investment grade bonds.

Both funds are sub-funds of Xtrackers (IE) plc, authorised in Ireland and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. The management company is DWS Investment S.A., and the depositary is State Street Custodial Services (Ireland) Limited. On the London Stock Exchange, both lines settle through Euroclear Bank.

The two listings add sterling-hedged, distributing share classes to the Xtrackers bond ETF range in London: one for investment grade and one for high yield global corporate bonds, with ongoing charges of 0.10% and 0.20% respectively
