Columbia Threadneedle Investments appoints Fanni Pfeningberger as Active ETF Business Development Manager

In this new role, Fanni, based in Vienna, Austria, and responsible for continental Europe, will be tasked with supporting the growth of the active ETF business, providing sales managers with her specialist industry expertise and helping to identify new target clients.

Prior to joining Columbia Threadneedle,  Fanni was responsible for Institutional and Wealth Sales across Central and Eastern Europe at BlackRock. During her career, she has worked in active and passive investments, portfolio solutions, alternative investments and technology partnerships. In addition to her commercial experience, Fanni has advanced training in finance, technology management and innovation, and recently obtained the CFA Certificate in Private Markets and Alternative Investments.

Her appointment reinforces the innovation path initiated by Columbia Threadneedle with the launch of the CT QR (Quant Redefined) Active ETF Series, already listed on Deutsche Börse Xetra and SIX Swiss Exchange, which will be followed by a listing on the London Stock Exchange in the coming weeks. The CT QR Series active equity ETF range builds on Columbia Threadneedle’s strong track record in managing a wide range of active ETFs in the United States. In addition, this new range of solutions benefits from the scale and efficiency advantages of the Group’s proprietary quantitative research platform and the in-depth real-time analysis of the Global Fundamental Research team, comprising over 124 analysts globally. The active ETF range is designed to represent actively managed core equity allocations in client portfolios.
